The brand Desizo Monni has presented for the fifth time a new collection of men’s suits on Bulgaria’s biggest fashion catwalk – the Sofia Fashion Week event. This year, the brand showed select visions from the autumn-winter collection 2018/19, which were created as a reflection of the male wardrobe’s liberalization in men’s fashion. Besides the classic men’s suits with an emphasis on Italian tradition, the brand broke the Bulgarian idea of menswear with a different look.
The collection includes outfits inspired by the period of the FRENCH REVOLUTION, as well as eclectic combinations of contemporary men’s suits, garments in CASUAL LUX style and elements of the so-called DISCO STYLE. The brand also introduced a limited edition print pattern “DANCING SHOES” inspired by the work of artist Andy Warhol and his special attitude towards shoes, music and club life.
The event was attended by celebrities, artists, influencers and fashion icons. The singer Valentina Alexandrova opened the event, followed by rock performances and defining famous beauties such as Ivaila Bakalova, Veronika Stefanova and Velina Uzunova. Visage Models Group’s male models have been dressed in Desizo Monni’s clothes, carrying authentic wind instruments from the Pleven Philharmonic. The instruments were provided with the help of the Bulgarian opera singer and father of Lucy Dyakovska, Lyubomir Dyakovski, who shared that he would be happy to participate in such a fashion event in the future, where the brand will take part.
The face of the autumn/winter 18-19 collection is the model Christian Vassilev, who is one of the most successful Bulgarian models in the US. In addition to his great achievements on the catwalk in New York, Christian’s face is now broadcasted on countless billboards in Sofia dressed in men’s suits by Desizo Monni.
Desizo Monni is a brand for men’s suits, which sets her limits of creativity by following world fashion trends. The designer of the brand, Ivan Ginchev, specially visits European fashion destinations, such as Paris and Milan, where he builds innovative concepts for future collections.
